Last Day

Tomorrow will be last day. I so excited and hoping that I am going to the regular college. I passed first part with assay and second wasn't so hard. My mom was very happy when she knew that I passed first one but she went to the Ukraine and I should call her tomorrow when I get results. I have been happy in this class and I will miss that time. Ok. See ya tomorrow.

Another week have gone! Two more weeks we have to finish. After that we will have long vacation. I am sad some times because my life is running to fast and I feel that I spend time for nothing. I remember wonderful moment in my life but I would like to have more happier moments in my life. I don't complain about my life but some times I wish to have better life :). PEACE !

Nothing special.

I have been in street racing on Saturday night. If u have seen the Fast and Furious movie, you should remember like people raced on awesome cars. So I saw the same yesterday, people hang up on Deer Park ave and went to the some place to race. They blocked street 1 mile long by cars. Two guys with awesome cars GTR and Mustang 5.0 raced for money. They put $800 each who win that guy take the money. So I was very impressed when guy on Mustang won !!!! It was awesome night. I never saw action like this before.

Sunday

Today was beautiful day. I woke up at 10 am and went for some shopping. After that I made some changes in my car. I changed exhaust system in my car. It gave me 10 HP and now I have 300 HP. Isn't cool? :) Although I did it not for 10 extra HP, I did it because it is very interesting for me. 5 years ago I can only dream about car but today I have car that I can't even dream :). I tuned my cars in games, today I tuned my real car. Its make me happy. Men will understand me :)

Awsome !!!

Yesterday I was on a delivery and we drove past Lamborgini dealership. I love these cars. It is my dream to have one. I never saw before so many Lamborginies in one place :). They have 3 cars just outside and 7 more inside that more expensive. Also these dealership sell Bentley and Ferrari. I saw 2 Bentleys at parking lot and one GTR. All cars are very expensive !!!! I even toched one :) car for $200 000.

HOKEY GAME

Last Saturday I was in a hokey game. It was my first real game at Nassau Coliseum. There played Islanders VS Tampa Bay. Islanders won 3:1. It was amazing game. After that we were at night club where was many girls, beer and excellent music. Ercument suppose to be there too but my phone died and he couldn't rich me. ( I am sorry man !

BIRTHDAY

This week was very difficult for me because I had Birthday in April 2. In April second I celebreted with my uncle and my cusin at his house. We had dinner and some vodka. Next day I was at bar when I celebreted my birthday with my friends. We drank a lot and was kick out from a bar because was very emotianl ). We were very disapointed because don't finish our drinks ).

SALE

Last weekends I worked hard because we had sale. I was surprised how many people came to buy bicycles. I knew that Americans sporty nation but in this crisis I don't expect that people will buy too much. Anyway I glad because I had overtime and could make some money.

SKATES

The last weekend I bought roller blades and stick. I never rode roller blades before only sky skates, but it's the same. Maybe for somebody it is big difference but I think it's the same. So I bought skates and went play hokey with my friends. I remembered my childhood when I played with my friends but without skates :). We planned to skate this weekends but weather was so bad. I hope next weekend weather will be better .....

FOOD

We need bring the recipe with a national food and I decide to put one on my blog maybe some of you want to try it ). I would like to tell you recipe some kind of soup. It has name BORSCHT. This soup is a Russian and Ukrainian national, cultural and culinary tradition. The people from all over Ukraine cook this soup according to their regional recipes.


Ingredients

• 8 cups beef broth
• 1 pound slice of meaty bone-in beef shank
• 1 large onion, peeled, quartered
• 4 large beets, peeled, chopped
• 4 carrots, peeled, chopped
• 1 large russet potato, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
• 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
• 3/4 cup chopped fresh dill
• 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
• 1 cup sour cream
• Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1 Bring 4 cups of the beef broth, the beef shank, and onion to boil in large pot. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour 30 minutes.

2 Transfer meat to work surface; trim fat, sinew and bone and discard. Chop meat; cover and chill. Cool broth slightly. Chill in pot until cold, at least 4 hours and up to 1 day.

3 Spoon fat from top of chilled broth and discard. Add remaining 4 cups broth, beets, carrots, and potato; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.

4 Stir in meat, cabbage and 1/2 cup dill; cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in vinegar.

Ladle soup into bowls. Top with sour cream and remaining 1/4 cup dill.

MOSCOW

I am continuing stories about my trips. Today I will tell you about MOSCOW. I pretty sure everybody knows this city. Moscow is the capital and the largest city of the Russia. This is very big city with a huge population in 10 mil people. In 2008 Moscow was named the world's most expensive city. This city include 3 international airports, 9 railroad terminals and one of the best metro system with architectures and artworks. I was there two times and once I have been in the Red Square.

MADNESS

Today I have been at Nissan service. I had appointment in 7:00 am so I wake up in 6:30 and went to the service station. They took my car and I stayed there until they fixed issues. After 5 hours they told me “We can’t find your part that was delivered in Monday”. I became furious. I called him in Monday and they told me that part came in. When I asked “What are you doing 5 hours?” They told me “We are looked for part.” I became MAD. I promised myself that i will never go back to that service station again.

My uncle arrived from Kiev today. I and my cousen met him in JFK. Than we had very good dinner and nice conversation. He told us about crisis in my country, there people lost their jobs, homes, cars, businesses. My country has very bad situation now, much worst then the U.S. has. When I came out side I was surrprised how much snow there. Thx god I got home save ).

Prison Break

Do you like TV shows? I do. I like not many but some of them really awesome. Today I would like to tell you about TV show “Prison Break”. This is TV show about two brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield and their relationships. When older brother Lincoln got to the jail, Michael decided to help him and save his brother from death penalty. He made an escape plan and put it on his body as a TATOO. Than he went to the bank and tried to robber that. He did that to get in the prison and help his brother escape from there. 

Vacation

Vacation gone, tomorrow will start another week. I worked hard at this week but I fill rested. It is very difficult for me to wake up at 7 am and go to school. I tire more in school then when I work. Anyway I like stady and I like my teacher also :).

My friends

As you know friends are most important in our live. One year ago I left my country where were all my friends. All important and amazing moments in my life were with my best friends. We worked, rested, rejoiced, fooled together. It is very difficult to find a good friend who will agree with you and will support you in all. In my country friends are very close to each other. In America friendship are different than in my country but maybe I am wrong. Will see.

Dj Tiesto

As you know I have pession to music. One of my favorite is Dj Tiesto. He is famous Dj in the world. I have alot of his CD's. I have been at his concert The Search Of Sunrise at Webster Hall in NYC. He had a tour across America. It was great concert and it was first concert in my life. Also then I was first time in NYC :). I met there people from Ukraine and was very surprised. He played only 3 hours from 12 am to 3 am. Another Dj played until he played because concert started at 8 pm. I came home at 6 am and was run-down.

EVE-Online

I think everybody knows what does Online game mean. Online game is a game where people connect to each other through the Internet and play together. Online game can gather a lot of people at the same time in one game. Some games have millions of subscribers who play every day. So I am one of them :). I play in MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) game every day since 2000 year. My favorite game is EVE-Online. I have played this game since 2003 year. So it is more than 5 years. This game has more then 200 000 active players. Usually 40 000 people play at the same time.

This game has real economy, huge universe, many types of ships and equipment. Game has many awards.

"Powerman 5000"

Yerstaday 02.04.09, I have been at the "Mulcahi's" Night Club. There played metal band "Powerman 5000", lead singer is Michael David Cummings. He is a Rob Zombie's (Robert Bartleh Cummings) brother. I am not a Fan of this band but I have a VIP card and can enter for free. Anyway it was interesting to listen real instruments and real vocal. Real means not from a CD or somewere else. It is very hard singing in real time in front of the big crowd of FANs. Who have been at the concert he knows. I have passion to music. I can just sit in the dark room and listen a music few hours. I try to catch every sound and recognize arrangement of instruments. I can talk alot about music :)

Road to Plattsburg (Part 2)

Ok, i am continue my story line about traveling.

Usually road to Plattsburg takes 5-6 hours, but I drove more then 12 hours. I stoped every 5 miles and took a picture. It was Fall, which is an amazing time of the year. I went in 6:00 am and arrived in 6:00 pm. My fliend, who waited me, thought I lost :). I took amazing trip.

Plattsburg is a small town where is most of the people are students. It has a big univercity there. I saw real american students life. I played in BEERPONG. I was in student parties. I made a pumkin face, because it was Helloween. (pictures are clickable)

If you will have chance to go on North of the state, don't lose.

FUNNY

I just found a funny story about russian people and I think its a good idea to put in my blog.

"Vodka, that reminds me of a time when I worked for Equifax. There were these two Russian dudes there they both were in the army at the time they pulled out of Poland. They told me a story bout when times were very hard and they could not get Vodka. So, the solution? Drink the ethanol alcohol out of the rockets. To hear these guys describe the process brought tears to my eyes from laughter. However, they looked at me with straight faces and demanded to know what was so funny. They also said as they were leaving Poland the guys were trading AK-47 for two bottles of Vodka. Russia! must be a great place to live."

BAD DAY

Today was a bad day. When I get out from my home I found my car under a big pile of snow. I spent 30 minutes to clean it from a snow. Then I saw my driver side mirror was broken. I think it was a snow removal machine. I was very disappointed the whole day.

Road To Plattsburg (Part 1)

I decided to tell you what I saw, where I have been, what I like. My first post about trip to Plattsburg, then more and more......

Plattsburg is a small town in upstate (North of the NY state). I went to meet my friend. We are working together at the bicycle store, but in the winter time he is studing there. So before the day when I left, I made a most interesting route.

I like trip on a car so much, you can see many places, you can stop what ever you want and make a picture, also I love to drive !!!.

I woud like to show you all pictures but It's impossible. So I tried to split some of them.

Experience

Hi everybody. I read all posts from our class. Everybody put something about him self, so I decided to put something about me too. I came in this country almost year ago, and I managed to do a lot. I got a job and I finished my first semester of English. I have been in Georgia. I went to Pluttsburg (photo in a bottom). I crashed my first car, and I bought another one :). I saw many people from many countries. I heard a lot of languages. Everything that called EXPERIENCE and I got alot of it. I am happy so much......
